This past weekend we packed our bags and headed south to the second annual Southern Geek Fest. In this episode we recap Southern Geek Fest 2, an event held in Hattiesburg, Mississippi on May 20-21, 2017. Southern Geek Fest showcased professional wrestlers, writers, actors, and cosplayers. Participants included: Cade Jones and Payton Wich from Netflix’s Stranger Things; WWE Hall-of-Famer, Hacksaw Jim Duggan; Writer/Artist Steven Butler, professional cosplayer, Alice Infinity, local authors, and more. Introducing GRITS – Geeks Recording in the South

We’ve mentioned this in recent episodes of Discussing Who, but we want to share our excitement about a new venture for which our team is a founding member. What is it? Well, allow me to introduce you to Geeks Recording in the South, or GRITS (for short). GRITS is a collaboration of Southern talent with a purpose of bringing awareness of and a showcase for a variety of content.
